In collaboration with Michi Marosszeky, Benchmark Media and Entertainment’s (BME) award-winning TV documentary series, Woven Threads has been short-listed for an AACTA in the category of ‘Best Short Documentary’. An exploration of real struggles in the world, the series is told through powerful animation and will screen at the new Shorts + Web Fest, 30 and 31st August at The Factory Theatre in Sydney.
BME’s Woven Threads is a short-form series on ABC iView which explores hope and courage by projecting real struggles in the world through powerful animation. Short-listed for an AACTA, it is acknowledged for educating and empowering through stories of hope and courage in a non-confronting way.
Launched on World Refugee Day, 20 June 2018, the series has received international acclaim and now forms part of Victoria and WA’s educational curriculum as a resource for teachers and over 900,000 students.
Renowned for their creativity and attention to detail, the BME team utilises its diverse experience across media and entertainment to create unique story-telling narratives and stimulating content that captivates target audiences and exceeds results – whether it be through a 30-second digital video, TVC or TV series.
